WINTER WRESTLING SERIES

We are pleased to turn over the Winter Wrestling Series (WWS) to TOP Fredericksburg (TOP FXBG) for the 2023-2024 season. We created this innovative league in 2017 with the goal of making our sport more enjoyable, creative and convenient for wrestlers and families. We are extremely proud to have safely run our tournaments during the 2020-2021 season when so many leagues and tourneys were cancelled due to COVID. For many kids, we were the only activity they could participate in during this unfortunate time. Even after we sold our showcase facility after Season 5, we were determined to keep going for the good of the sport, and we transitioned to external venues at Meridian High School and Manassas Baptist Church. Today, our league continues to grow and now features almost 30 clubs and 900 season pass holders who make WWS their regular winter league.
As TOP moves in new directions to advance the sport of wrestling (see CLAW), we are very grateful that TOP FXBG has fully embraced continuing this unique youth league. We have so many great clubs and leaders in the wrestling community, and so we are sure they will support the new management and WWS will continue to thrive in future years!
