Rhonda Houck
Executive Director and Supervisor
Rhonda Houck will oversee TOP Priority Day Camps, including hiring of staff, facility management, and more. Rhonda earned a Masters of Engineering degree (with specialization in Chemical Engineering) and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville. In addition to 15 years working at a major energy company, she has two years of experience as a substitute teacher. For the past six years, Rhonda has worked with children and managed youth sporting events as a full-time volunteer at Top of the Podium.
Tom Houck
Part-Time Leader
Tom Houck will assist the Executive Director, create learning content for students (e.g., daily challenges), and serve as a P.E. teacher. Tom has a Masters in Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary and graduated with honors in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. He previously founded an adult learning company and oversaw curriculum development. For the past six years, Tom has volunteered as President at Top of the Podium and has also coached numerous elementary and middle school wrestling and flag football teams.
Irma Ladenburg
Supervisor and Leader
Irma Ladenburg is a Supervisor/Leader at TOP Priority and will serve students in a variety of ways. After studying veterinary medicine in Peru, Irma moved to the United States and worked as a Veterinary technician for six years before transitioning to business and education. She served as a substitute teacher in San Francisco before opening and operating a daycare in Virginia for over 10 years. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree, speaks fluent Spanish, and has experience and is certified in working with special needs children. Irma is also certified in first aid, CPR, AED, and BLS.
