TOP is proud to offer a new off-season club for high school and middle school wrestlers. The club is led by highly regarded high school coaches, plus TOP’s Tom Houck who will provide extra attention on our middle school wrestlers. In addition to regular practices, the team competes in tournaments and duals throughout the spring. Carpools will be arranged for those needing transportation.

STEVE FITTERY SESSIONS
Various Sundays throughout the spring
4x NCAA All-American and FITS Academy founder Steve Fittery leads Sunday afternoon sessions for experienced and serious wrestlers. Steve is extremely popular and has a tremendous reputation for being an outstanding coach, instructor, and leader of young men. These practices focus on both freestyle and folkstyle. The sessions take place on March 11 and 25, April 15 and 22 and 29 and May 6. Fees for the six sessions are $135. Walk-in fee is $30. Click here for more information.

SUNDAY YOUTH GROUP
Every Other Sunday beginning March 11
Ages 10 and up are invited to Youth Group on Sundays this spring. Coach Steve Fittery and TOP’s Tom Houck will present a Christian-based lesson and encourage discussions about practical applications in today's world. Older and younger kids will be separated into different groups, if necessary. And, yes, there will be time for dodgeball! Exact dates are March 11 and 25, April 15 and 22 and 29, and May 6. Registration is not required.
INTRO TO WRESTLING CLASS
Thursday 3:30-4:25 pm (April 12-May 31)
Grades 1-6 are invited to this class for boys and girls who have never wrestled before. We will orient kids to the "world's oldest sport" by teaching them scoring, rules, and showing lots of "real wrestling." The participants will be introduced to basic fundamentals in all major positions (neutral, top, bottom), obtain good exercise, and have fun. TOP's Tom Houck will lead this class and will be assisted by members of the Centurions homeschool wrestling team. Fees are $85 for the 8 week class.
SCANLAN WRESTLING ACADEMY
Premium, high-level training 3x week!
D2 NCAA champion Dan Scanlan offers year-round, high-level training at TOP. The spring session runs from March 12 through the end of may. This program is for serious athletes with high goals and a strong commitment to succeed.

YOUTH TECHNIQUE CLASS
Monday 5:30-7:00 pm (March 12-May 21)
Youth Coach Doug Muhlbauer returns to TOP to teach this weekly class for elementary-age wresters, ages 7 and up. Novice and beginner wrestlers will focus on developing and enhancing skills that lead to success on the mat. Beginner middle schoolers may also participate if we can have partners at their weight/age in the group. Class meets weekly except for March 26. Fees are $119 for 10 classes!

Tuesday (6:30-8:00) and Saturday (8-9:30 AM)
Thomas Domerese (Coach Dom) will lead Greco practices beginning March 27. These sessions are free for TOP DAWGS members and only $10 per practice for all others (must have USA Wrestling card). Emphasis will be on proper technique and drilling.
Coach Dom is a former member of the U.S. All Air Force team, a 2016 Armed Forces Greco Silver medalist, a 2015 bronze medalist at the USA Beach Wrestling Nationals, and a 2014-2015 Military Grappling Champion at the USA Grappling World Team Trials. He is also one of the coaches at Top Dawgs Wrestling Club this spring.
CENTURION HOMESCHOOL PRACTICES
Thursday 1-3 pm (April 5 – May 31)
The Centurions homeschool wrestling team started in the spring of 2017 and just completed its first full season. This spring, the team will hold weekly practices for middle school and high school boys on Thursday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 pm. Experienced and new wrestlers are welcome.
Emphasis will be on developing essential fundamental wrestling skills, chain wrestling (including series of moves), and having some fun along the way. We will also hold a small group study at the conclusion of every practice that focuses on the life of King David.
The Centurions are run by the Northern Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association. Fees are $135 for the spring session.
