Three middle schools combine to form the Brambleton Area team: Eagle Ridge, Brambleton, and Stone Hill. The season runs from November 8 to late February and consists of 2-3 practices per week at local schools. Coach John Kazantzidis will lead the team this season.
Based on experience level, the wrestlers compete in various dual meets and tournaments in Loudoun County. We also hope to participate in exhibition meets at local high schools in conjunction with varsity matches.
Uniforms and Equipment
Our uniforms consist of fight shorts and compression shirts (the latter is provided by the team). Required equipment is a headgear and wrestling shoes. We encourage you to purchase equipment at TOP OF THE PODIUM in Sterling, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that offers gear at discounted prices. Hours are limited and posted on this web site.
To join this team, you must sign up for a local youth wrestling club. Eastern Loudoun Wrestling Club manages the Brambleton team. Click here for more information about ELWC and then simply register for the Middle School Division (if you attend one of these schools, you will automatically be assigned to this team).
If you are interested in other clubs nearby in Loudoun County, check out DSYS and the Rangers. Wrestlers can join these clubs but still represent the Brambleton team at various competitions.
